January is a great time to take care of important HR requirements including:
1) As required by federal OSHA law, the posting of the 300A Form needs to be posted on a public employee bulletin board from February 1st through April 30th of each year.
Please tally your OSHA 300 Form and transfer the calculations to the OSHA 300A Form for posting.
To access OSHA Forms 300 and 300A:
2) Distributing your organization's Anti-Harassment Policy to all employees and having employees acknowledge receipt of receiving this policy which employers are legally required to do in Massachusetts annually and upon an employee's hire.
In addition, while not a legal requirement, start off the new year by asking employees to complete a new Employee Information Form to insure that you have their most current address, phone # and updated 2 emergency contacts on each employee.
