Michael J. Susco  Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Mike currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Telamon   Insurance & Financial Network. After graduating from college,   Mike immediately entered the insurance industry. His first job was with the Travelers Insurance Company. After holding such positions as Commercial Lines Manager, Marketing Manager, Claims Manager, President, COO, CFO, and CEO of a large local insurance agency, he decided to establish his own multi-dimensional insurance entity, one that would provide a full range of products to both brokers and the insured with an emphasis on customer service. Mike combined Surplus Services Insurance Agency, which he had also founded (1975), with Marketing Associates Insurance Agency (1981). Greg M. Susco  President & Chief Operating Officer

Greg takes pride in crafting the exact coverage his clients need, helping them manage risk and control costs to reduce unnecessary insurance expenses. After launching his career in the sales field, Greg joined Telamon as a senior sales executive (2002). He was later named IT Director (2003) and subsequently developed, directed, managed, and implemented a five-year IT strategy for Telamon. As Vice President of Telamon (2004 - 2012), Greg focused on effective strategy, helping Telamon provide clients with a single-source solution customized for their unique insurance needs. He then purchased a majority interest in Telamon (2012) and assumed his current role as President and COO. In his spare time, Greg serves on the board of the Phoenix Charter Academy Network, which manages a public charter school in Chelsea, Mass., and a district school in Lawrence, Mass. He is also a member of the Boston chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. Greg received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He lives in Needham, Mass., with his wife and two kids.

John Snyder  President, Employee Benefits Division

As the President of the Employee Benefits Division, and a member of the Board of Directors for Telamon, John brings more than 20 years of experience to Telamon in the employee benefits and human resources industries. John is an expert in strategic benefit design, carrier negotiation, alternative funding methods, employee communication options and HR technology solutions. Prior to joining Telamon, John was President and founder of HCR Group, Inc. - an Employee Benefits and Human Resources Consulting firm. His past experience also includes UNUMProvident, Sun LifeFinancial, and HR Logic - a Fidelity Investments-owned HR outsourcing company. John holds a B.S. in Business from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also an active member of the National Health Underwriters, where he works closely with other industry leaders to stay on the front lines of news and information. He has completed the Steinberg leadership program for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and he is involved with outreach programs within the community. John lives in Wellesley, Mass., with his wife and two daughters.

Lauren Brenner, SPHR  President, HR Services Division

As President of the Human Resources Services Division, Lauren is a highly-experienced HR Generalist and Consultant who brings more than 25 years of experience to our clients. Lauren provides best practices advice and services to organizations in a wide range of industries. She has been asked to present on a variety of HR-related topics to organizations including NEHRA (New England Human Resource Association), Chambers of Commerce and the Plymouth County Bar Association. Lauren is certified through the Human Resources Certification Institute for her presentations enabling those certified as Professionals in Human Resources to receive accreditation by attending her programs. As Principal of the HR Division, Lauren partners with Telamon to assist clients with their Human Resources needs. Prior to HR Consulting, she worked in-house for organizations, spearheading the HR Department for Jordan's Furniture, Boch Enterprises, and Quebecor World RPC. Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration and Labor Relations from SUNY/Brockport. Stephen Chunias - Chief Financial Officer

Stephen is an experienced CPA and CFO who has been working in the financial services sector since 2001.  Stephen joined Telamon Insurance and Financial network in November of 2010.  He works with the firm’s accounting team and ownership regarding operational and financial reporting.  He also develops accounting procedures and policies and manages the firm’s annual independent CPA review. He has an active CPA license in the state of Massachusetts. Mr. Chunias began his accounting career with Price Waterhouse in Boston.  He later acquired and ran a successful digital imaging business which he sold in 2000 to American Reprographic Company a NYSE listed company. Mr. Chunias began to provide CFO consulting to businesses in 2001.  Mr. Chunias is also an adjunct professor of Accounting and Finance at the University of Massachusetts's MBA program.  Mr. Chunias graduated from Boston College with an Accounting Degree and has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.  Email: schunias@telamonins.com   

 

 

Megan Flynn  Director of Operations and Client Services,

Benefits and HR Division

Megan Flynn is an employee benefits and HR professional whose past experience includes customer service, general HR, staffing, recruiting and operations management.  Megan’s main focus at Telamon is ensuring the delivery of our team’s customer service excellence by both conducting renewal and multi-year benefit strategic analyses and tracking benefit trends and compliance. Megan has earned her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation through The Wharton School. Megan is a certified Worksite Wellness Practitioner and partners with the Wellness Council of America to develop and implement employee wellness programs. Thomas Murray - Manager of Operations & Customer Experience -

P&C Division 

As manager of Operations and Customer Experience, Tom is responsible for overseeing the commercial and personal lines retail services staff at Telamon. Tom brings diverse experience in business insurance practices, building strong relationships, and delivering professional and exceptional customer services to our clients and carriers. Tom joined the Telamon team with customer service experience in 2007 as a sales administrator in the retail P&C division and continues to deepen his service and industry expertise. He received his B.S. of Business Administration from Western New England University. Diane Sheedy  Executive Vice President

In the spring of 1993, Diane acknowledged Michael J. Susco's vision to created Telamon Insurance & Financial Network and joined him as the Operations Manager of the newly formed Network. She began her career in the insurance industry in 1977 working for Michael at a previous large local insurance agency, concentrating in accounting.  As the Network grew from eleven employees, Diane assumed different roles within the organization. Since then, Diane has done underwriting, auditing, accounting, work flow analysis, and IT work for Telamon. Elena Smalky  Vice President of Services

Elena began her time in the insurance industry in 1978, and brings her vast knowledge and experience to her role as Vice President of Services at Telamon. She oversees the department of eight Service Account Executives to provide day-to-day service and client support to the insured. In addition to this, Elena also maintains the role of Account Executive, handling books of business, while also training and mentoring junior staff. Elena enjoys classical music and attends concerts regularly. She loves watching Red Sox and Patriots games, and her passion is traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines with her three children.  Designations held:  CPCU, ARM, LIA, CIC, MA Brokers’ License and MBA in Finance (Boston College).

Eileen West  Manager, Personal Lines

Eileen joined Telamon in the Surplus Services division in 1981, where she gained experience in both commercial and personal lines for the agency. In April 2008, Eileen was named the Manager of Personal Lines, overseeing all personal lines of business. Eileen's warm personality and impeccable customer services skills have helped her to build lasting relationships with her personal lines clients.  Eileen is an expert in auto, homeowners, renters and property insurance. In her leisure time, Eileen enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and watching Patriot games.
